Car Puzzle Route Zuidelijk Westerkwartier

A stone's throw from the city of Groningen, bordering Friesland and Drenthe, you will find a wonderful and very beautiful region: Westerkwartier.

This region is perfect for nice, leisurely touring and sightseeing.

Enjoy the varied landscape, some beautiful country estates and special places like the Peebos, the Abel Tasmanpad and the Cistician Monastery Museum in Aduard. The Westerkwartier at its best.

Find your route through this beautiful area and discover new and historic nature reserves, old manor houses, pretty villages and stop at historic figures. The route will show you the variety, the at times enchanting spots with intimate vistas.

The Westerkwartier is ideal for a perfect day out for couples, families and for groups. Families with children can also opt for the special Kinderroute Westerkwartier.

Taking a scenic drive is already fun; of course, it becomes even more fun in a nostalgic duck. From April to mid-October, it is possible to drive a car puzzle tour in one of those super cool real duck, or the original 2CV.

We have selected two routes you can drive in the duck. They are:

• Route Southern West Quarter.
