Several years ago, VARA discovered the special character of the Hoog Hammen farm, and gave the farm a starring role in a well-known Dutch television series. Unfortunately, the farm is in a serious state of disrepair. There was some hope that the farm could be restored to its former glory.... A foundation called "Hope for Hoog Hammen" had hoped to save Hoog Hammen from ruin with an ambitious plan for a cultural infill. However, things turned out differently. By the end of 2022, Hoog Hammen will have a new owner. This new owner seems to have a different idea for the farm after all, in which preserving authenticity is not a priority.
