".... Painting is in my genes. My grandfather Klaas painted. My father Minne and my brother Theo paint. ....... I find my subjects close to. Impressions from a holiday, the city of Groningen, the Hogeland, animals, my garden and portraits. On commission, I paint portraits of people and animals. I have been giving painting lessons of 2.5 hours every week since 1990. And monthly one-day workshops.
