Jan Mulder, the ceramicist: "I was born on 19 February 1942 in Velsen and have lived in Onderdendam, province of Groningen, since 1977. Being self-taught, I have developed my experience and knowledge of what you can do with clay over many years. My preference is working with clay plates. With 3D design in clay, you can vary endlessly. If you think it's been thought of, it can always be the weather surprisingly and endlessly different."
