The Children's Book House Foundation in Winsum is a museum, a library and a second-hand children's book shop all in one. The book collection is made up of donations of children's books from all over the country. Temporary exhibitions with books from the special collection are shown, books can be borrowed from the general collection and the duplicate books the foundation has are offered for sale for a small price. The Children's Book House now houses one of the largest collections of Dutch-language children's and youth books. This makes it a special place of remembrance for young and old.
